    Implants, Els Vander Meersch

Photography book by Els Vanden Meersch. Central theme is the memory of architecture. The historical scope of this publication reinforces the thematic sensibilities of her earlier phographic work: the control mechanisms, the paranoia and the latent violence behind large-scale building constructions.

Tight: Repeating Boredom / Hall / Privaat, Rita Mc Bride, Koenraad Dedobbeleer

Part artist book, part exhibition catalogue published as a component of three joint exhibitions by Koenraad Dedobbeleer and Rita McBride: 'Tight: Repeating Bordedom' at FRAC Bourgogne, Dijon (21.06–12.09.2008), 'Hall', Kunsthalle Bern (04.10–30.11.2008) and 'Privaat', Mu.ZEE, Oostende (24.01–01.03.2009).

The book consists of 2 contributions by the artists and a photographic documentation of the exhibitions.

Both Rita Mc Bride and Koenraad Dedobbeleer are artists who investigate the relation between architecture and institutional and social context, and the confrontation of their strangely connected/disconnected pratices has resulted in 3 highly intelligent shows and a book collaboration with MER.

    Oops Wrong Planet, Anouk Declercq

This publication and the accompanying video together comprise the 'Oops Wrong Planet' project by Anouk De Clercq.

Anouk De Clercq investigates the interrelationships between the video image and other art forms. Her challenge is to search for the appropriate relationships, finding paths to breakthrough the limitations that are inherent to every discipline. In this way she unites text, image, architecture and music in three-dimensional installations.
